Beyond Raw Maca…

Beyond Gelatinized Maca…

Beyond Roasted Maca…

Maca Bliss

Maca Bliss is a true 10:1 dual (water + alcohol) extract – almost all the fiber and starch is removed leaving just the active and soluble compounds. It dissolves in water!

Most raw or ‘gelatinized’ maca powders are milled whole maca roots. They’re a bit starchy, but they work okay. Maca Bliss is a true extract in which every pound of Maca Bliss is extracted from 10 pounds of whole dry maca. 100% black maca roots are blended in water and alcohol to dissolve the water-soluble and lipid-soluble active constituents. The blend is then strained much like a powerful tea to remove the fiber and starch. What’s left is a sweet, creamy blend of the most active constituents.
Ingredients: 100% Powdered 10:1 Dual Extract of Black Maca (Lepidium meyeni) root standardized to 0.6% macamides and macaenes. No fillers, additives, synthetic ingredients, preservatives, flowing agents, GMO’s, dairy, or gluten.
Vegan, Gluten-Free and Packaged in the U.S.A.
Serving Size: 1 teaspoon (2000 mg). Mix in pure water, juice, nut mylk, soup, or smoothie. Have fun and live long!
1 serving (1 teaspoon) of Maca Bliss is equivalent to 3 tablespoons of raw black maca powder!

Namaste, I cannot consume alcohol. Is there alcohol in the Maca Bliss? I understand it’s used in the processing.
Thank you for your products and website. I’m gonna make the pumpkin pie recipe!

    I heard of you through

  • Laura:

I’d love any Maca Milkshake recipes – with either coconut or nut milks. I love maca!

  • Raymond:

  • robyn ratto:

    Dear Christian,
Thank you so much for the gift of Maca Bliss. I have been wanting to try it with my smoothie. Thanks again for your kindness. Have a great day!

  • Raymond:

Can’t wait to take this. Just ordered mine the other day…Will keep you posted

  • Michelle:

    Hi Chirstian,
Thank you for all you do! I recently ‘found’ both yourself and Bethanne through YouTube and have been so inspired by you both.
I’ve been wanting to try Maca Bliss but I have read that it should be avoided by those with thyroid issues. What are your thoughts on this?
    Thank you!

    • Michelle,

Thank you! Raw maca tends to present the biggest issues with people, especially those with sensitive thyroids. However, because Maca Bliss is a dual extract, it is more tonic. That said, you’ll want to keep a close eye on your thyroid and work a qualified holistic physician to dial in your thyroid. -Christian

  • Stephanie:

Do you know if this is safe to consume during pregnancy, too? Thanks!

    • Stephanie,

Great question. There is much thought on maca during pregnancy and breastfeeding. I say a little is fine, but daily use I cannot recomend. Instead, I recomend easing right into Mushroom Immunity, Epic Reishi, Goji Joy and Pearl Extract. 🙂

  • Roberta:

Woah – your explanation about getting in touch with one’s SEXUALITY on a deeper level after taking MACA for awhile (my dose: 1 Tbs daily about 9 months) is verification that the BLISSFUL effect is real. It does get soooooo much better….

  • Burch:

Christian: Thanks for the honest info. I’m a 61 yr old, vegan, petite female ashtangi, tai chi enthusiast. Recently, no matter what I do, weight seems to accumulate around my thighs and gluts. Would Maca Bliss help balance hormones to help distribute weight? Not sure how the estrogen dominance fits in here.

    • Hi Burch!

You sound awesome. 🙂 You also sound disciplined. In my experience:

      ~Maca Bliss would help,
~adding in animal fats (tallow, ghee, egg yolks, salmon, things of that nature, all organic/wild/pastured of course),
~strength training (ashtanga is great, but actual strengthening/hypertrophy with weights will do what yoga doesn’t. Google: ‘Split Training’),
~other androgenic tonic herbs (like Longevity in a Bottle).
~get blood tests that includes lots of hormone stats to see where your levels are at.
~You may want to do DIM and other natural substances to inhibit runaway aromatization.

Have fun and let me know how it’s going!

      • Burch:

Fantastic! Ordering today. Referring to your earlier response what is ‘DIM . . . to inhibit runaway aromatization”

  • Louisette Pochat:

    Hi! Christian

What a great speech you gave today about Maca! I love your product I have been using them…soon I will need some more and I only will buy from you…

    Regards Louisette

  • Anna:

Hi ! Quick question if you have had breast cancer hormone/progesterone positive is it still safe to take maca

    • Hi Anna,

That is a great question for working closely with a qualified holistic physician. Although Maca Bliss is great for most women in most cases, there are occasional issues with maca ramping up a women’s hormones too much, and if you are such a case then its best if you get clear about it through blood testing and other methods with a doctor talented at such. Let me know your findings and do enjoy the process of being meticulous with your health – it pays off! 🙂

  • Kimberley Goodwin:

I used to have hyperthyroidism. Now I have hypothyroidism and I am taking levothyroxine 2.0mgs for it but I have never feel right since I was feeling credit take radioactive water iodine to inhibit the goiter I had. Is there anything I can take for energy and for hormonal imbalance?

    • Kimberly,

I can’t really comment on using my products in regards to thyroid medication of course. But for all over endocrine system health and healthy long burning energy, the Everlasting Youth you started with is excellent. Consider adding in Longevity in a Bottle, Glow, Maca Bliss and Revival Formula (details on Revival Formula going soon!) 🙂

  • Mark:

I’m curious, does your Maca product still contain minerals (calcium, phosphorus, boron, selenium, etc) after processing?

  • Carolyn Bilodeau:

Is there lead in your maca extract? On powder forms of maca they have warnings due to lead found in the soil where the maca is grown. I’m pretty concerned about it because I breastfeed and don’t want any lead in my milk supply.

    • Hi Carolyn,

Great question. Our maca is grown certified organic in the high Andes. It falls well below national standards of detectable lead content. No need to worry. 🙂

Many breastfeeding mommas take our Maca Bliss on a case by case basis. It can be beneficial to many mammas if it agrees with your body. If you’re going to do maca, this is the one! 🙂

  • Niki:

I found raw macs hard to digest. I was told gelatinous is the way to go but didn’t purchase yet. An you tell me if your product has the same properties as raw which caused some troubles? Thanks! I hope to try 🙂

  • Niki:

    Sorry for the typos!!

    • Hi Niki,

Haha, I’ve spent years typing ‘maca’ only to have autocorrect spell it ‘macs,’ which is what I call macadamia nuts. 😉

Maca Bliss is the most digestible form of maca. It’s unlike raw maca and even more digestable than gelatinized maca. I was only comparing Maca Bliss to raw maca as in it would take 3 tablespoons of raw maca to equal the power of 1 teaspoon of Maca Bliss.

So if you are on that can’t handle raw maca, you may still have similar issues with gelatinized, so Maca Bliss is perfect for you.

Let me know if you have any more questions or need more clarity on the different types of maca.

  • Chrid:

Whats the biggest difference you notice comparing regular macs to maca bliss?

    • Hi Chris,

The biggest difference is that Maca Bliss is EASY to get an effective dosage. Raw Maca one needs to take 10X as much – and even then, raw maca is fibrous, starchy, sugary and sometimes has mold contamination. Maca Bliss is extremely potent, so so tasty, mold-free and easy to digest. 🙂
